Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of Quechua. Their pop-up tents have got me through many a Leeds Festival. But I kid you not – I saw, not one, not three, but SIX people wearing some sort of Quechua paraphernalia within grabbing distance on the metro yesterday. “Why!?”, I yell. “Es buena y barata!”, they cry, shocked at my passive aggressive and, quite frankly, disresepectful attitude towards Spain’s most beloved sportswear brand. Two of my housemates were actually wearing the same Quechua fleece yesterday and I caught them both smiling about it. No shame.
To quote from their website:
Quechua: “new Decathlon brand, created for hiking, climbing, skiing, boarding and Spanish pillocks…”
