Last night the kids over at Primavera Sound revealed the line-up to their coveted indie music festival via the ambiguously-named video, Line-Up.
The short, which screened simultaneously in various hipster-packed cinemas last night across Spain, managed to reveal the whole line-up of the Barcelona-based fest in a space of 26 minutes. Check it out for yourself below.
But then things in the video start to get a bit…weird. I’m trying not to think about it too much because I still have issues getting my head around the Back to the Future saga – something about having three Marty McFlys running around in an alternate past and future. And don’t get me started on the back-from-the-dead mum issue – I’m still trying to get over Arcade Fire’s Afterlife video.
But that’s not all, there are other Primavera-affiliated concerts taking place across Barcelona during the weekend. One gig that especially caught our eye is the B-Core Showcase in Sala Apolo [2] on Sunday 1st June. Valencia favourites Cuello and Santi Garcia’s very own No More Lies are sure to put on a hell of a show if last summer’s Sant Feliu Fest is anything to go by.
So, what do you think to the line-up? Any thoughts? Was there anyone that you were betting on that hasn’t made the cut?
And if you want to shout your opinion of the line-up from the rooftops, or just on Twitter because you can’t be bothered to go outside, remember to always use the #BestLineUpEver hashtag that’s being slung about all over the place to promote the festival.
Ens veiem allà!
