delve into the world of «Music & Cinema».
All movies are projected in the «self-managed» garage/planta baja in the charming Valencian barrio of Benimaclet. Entrance is free, beers are cheap and the place is set up with a pleasant mish-mash of comfortable sofas and chairs.
This new ciclo comes after the Stanley Kubrik season which saw projections of Full Metal Jacket and Eyes Wide Shut, as well as a focus on Balkan Cinema which featured great movies such as No Man’s Land (Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2001). All movies are shown in original version with subtitles in Spanish.
But it’s not just cinema that the organizers of La Cueva de beCode focus their efforts on. Their calendar is full of workshops, meals, mercaditos, jam sessions, courses and… computer programming!?
See the Facebook event page for «Music & Cinema» series, which also includes Hedwig and The Angry Inch and Phantom of the Paradise, here.
Join us for a beer, some popcorn and This Is Spinal Tap this Tuesday 25th March at 8pm.
